Haven't read anything as I have a headache and cannot be bothered!
I just like the comment underneath:

It is a funny quote, haha. But he actually wasn't in the bug team until after that happened. XD

It doesn't matter, its just a reminder of how poor their work is when people are making massive profit from bug exploits.

Just because agility shortcuts weren't a viable training method before an update doesn't mean they shouldn't be after one Tongue It's just the communication and inconsistency which I feel can be slightly problematic at times.

Was "chatting" with Mod. Chrisso earlier, definitely the member of the Jagex Team I have the highest regard for after that. He's investigating whether or not superheating while mining is going to be a rollback-able offence due to the nature of "abusing" the game mechanics, similarly to low alching while skilling smile Could lead to some interesting changes in skilling due to overlooks.

It would just seem really silly to do that, considering all the work they put into making agility courses, you know? That's just how I feel. I know updates will always be there to further change the game, even in ways we didn't think would happen. So I agree on the miscommunication aspect of what you're saying.

Will be interesting to see how they treat superheating + mining, my guess would be that they'll do the same to superheating + smelting as well.

Oh lol! That would be funny xD
Ain't it the point in game to find a way into the mechanics to be more efficient than others?

That's silly.

So vyrewatches are a decent spot to train now with unlimited altar and bank, will they nerf it because they weren't planning for it?

I think all the fun in Runescape is about finding odd ways to train faster or easier. Like in Dg, we rush to do the best floors only, firemaking we've found the pyrelord... Planned or not, we don't want those ways to train to disapear.

Ok problem 1...

Jagex is human ran, there will be mistakes. To think there won't be no matter how far they delay or however much more time they put into Patches is just plain silly in my opinion.

Problem 2, if they wanted this to be a legit method of training it would of been mentioned "oh hey there's gonna be this new agility training method coming out with this quest."

Problem 3, to not expect recoil from abusing something that with any common sense isn't a legit method is just plain silly as well. I know common sense is a dying thing but come on people, you see something that might be considered a bug you report it and move on with your day. Help the makers of the game you play to make the experience the best it can be, there are things you might not like but meh shit happens.

TLGrinR version.
Jagex is run by humans mistakes are gonna be made.
Legit methods will be announced.
If it looks like a bug it is... report it, move on and if no fix comes abuse it then.

I'll be honest with you guys
I havent read all posts because they are big (school holidays kill me).
Jagex should test they product before relising it to the public. Like other game that I played. Before every big update they had a server only allowed to some people that go in played to test new features. This should be easy to do and not cost a lot.
Since last prayer update I found a bug that probably many found too. If you restore your prayer at an altar it does not restore it fully (eg: I have 810 prayer but it only restore to 803 or 809). Probably many already have reported it but no correction so far.
Also they should add an ingame bug report feature to make it easier. I really dont know how to report a bug that I found ingame.

At agility bug.
I think they thought no one would use that to train/stay there 1 hour to test xp/hr and jagex dont want to asume they made a mistake.

What a lovely debate happenning! Tongue I have to agree with Shay, Newbh and Steven`s comments, that is pretty much how I feel.

Also Justin, I think you are taking this way out of proportion, no reason to not feel safe for your account. Tons of people do alching while skilling and have done so far a long time, there has never been mention it is against the rules. If Jagex decides to stop it, or tell people not too, then they will.
