I was firemaking the other day and some guy was sad because he broke the bank to get to 99 firemaking and he was 600k xp short. He never asked me but I randomly traded him 2k yew logs and 1k magic logs to ensure he completed his goal.

The same day I asked everyone in public if they had silverhawk feathers to sell me I was at shanty so I didn't want to go to ge and waste xp. Some guy said yeah I received some on th today and he traded em when I went to pay he said don't worry about it and let me have 250 silverhawk feathers free

I don't remember ever getting anything for free like that.

I think the largest amount I've given away, at once, was 168m

When RS2 started and rune was very rare, a guy dropped me a rune longsword. I was in heaven.
Other than that I gave multiples M to friends and a few years ago I was running the Surreal Lottery and financing most of it myself

well see surreal is a great and generous group of people :-) its nice to finally see a population that isnt all about themselves

When I quit my first account, because I knew I wanted to only play on this one, I gave its complete bank to a friend. It included a Santa hat which was around 20M then I think. I've known that friend since we were both 3 years old. We went to the same school until we had to go to high school, but I still know and see him and he also still plays RuneScape. Unfortunately his account got hacked somewhere along the way and he lost everything, including my stuff. That was pretty long ago too and he's way richer than me again now. XD This friend also helped me get my Santa hat in the first place. When they were at about 5M I was short of about 1M and he lent it to me. I did pay it back though, so I don't think that can count as a real 'donation', but that's the best thing I can remember.
